Innovation details
High-end AdvancedTCA RapidIO based embedded processing platform, including Linux System Software and Diagnostic Software Tools
A very flexible & scalable platform applicable for deterministic processing of huge amounts of data combined with very low latencies. Total system consists of various free configurable processing & IO AMC modules.
The included Linux System Software supports all thinkable hardware configurations. Also hotswap of the AMC modules is supported to increase reliablity en reduce downtime. Software & hardware support transparent interconnection of multiple rack systems over fiber optics or copper.
A number of Diagnostic Software Tools make it possible e.g. to extensively test the system performance, monitor system health or to execute bandwidth measurements.
The hardware and software is qualified thoroughly and have passed a variety of complex regression and duration tests, which makes it very applicable for eg. medical, industrial, telecom (e.g. WiMAX or LTE) or military markets.
Function
Deterministic processing of huge amounts of data combined with very low latencies for (real-time) applications in the medical, industrial, telecom (e.g. WiMAX) or military market.
